(Golf equipment innovations and new golf clubs)
There was a time when the Mashie and Niblick were the common names for clubs for the game of golf and then we progressed to a combination of woods and irons. But the question that Callaway Golf is asking now is “Are you ready to give up those irons?”
Callaway believes that you can with their new Big Bertha Hybrid Clubs. These new “Hybrid’s” are touted as having 7 lofts to replace the 1 to 7 irons with enhanced distance of an iron and the forgiveness and control of a wood. If these new clubs have the “High Moment of Inertia” that Callaway claims there could be a new movement from traditional irons to a bag full of Hybrids and Woods. |
